Production Plans

We need to gather all of our props which include props

Parachute men - £1 each, we purchased two packets in total of £2 for 16 parachute men.

Bouncy Balls - £1.60 for 15 balls on eBay, for 50 balls we will pay around about the £6 mark.

Giant Confetti Cannon - £2 each eBay, purchase 2 possibly for £4.

Glitter - Hobby Craft £1/2 each packet, about three to four different colours.

Confetti - 50p from Petals Loft in Bexleyheath, already purchased.

This is the over view of the costumes, what we are using and how much

For the more subtle and soft part of the song we will be using a very hippy but natural looking outfit.

We will get this outfit from either Charlotte's collection or Libby's or last resort we go into a charity shop and buy one for £5 or under.

For the more louder and vibrant parts we want her to wear something very bright and fun preferably a dress from Molly's collection which is very 60's Bohemian.

We will be using different locations so that it set the scene for the music

The first location will be in the Gallery in the Art department for our first shot with the parachute men. This will not cost anything.

We will also be using Bostal Heath for our intertextual reference this also will be free to use.

When she is singing with a microphone we will put her in the gallery with a green screen behind her, we were thinking of putting either some sort of tie die on the green screen or a massive image of the inside of an apartment.

We will also be using Danson Park on firework night so that we can film the fireworks to put into our music video

Do we need any permission for the locations we have chosen

The only permission that we need so far are the scenes in the gallery as we need to make sure that their is no exhibitions being held in their at the time of filming or that no one is working in their and need it to themselves.

Who are we using in our music video

We are going to use Molly Baxter in our music video as the main singer. We have asked her and she has agreed to film with us which has relieved us of that part of our planning.

Who will be on the set on the filming of our music video

The people on the set whilst filming will be Libby, Charlotte, Si Hin and for only certain parts of the music video Molly Baxter will be present.

What do we want the end product to look like

We want the end production to be a very Bohemian type video, that is a lot of fun to watch, dance to and listen to. This is going to be visually dynamic and pleasing to the eye.

Journal 21st October

In today lesson we continue drawing our storyboards for our music video, we only have a few shot to draw and discuss, the storyboard would be finish at the end of the lesson.

Journal 17 October

Today we continue our storyboard for the music videos, we suggested different idea that we can use for the 'zing boom' , one of the ideas was the uses of fireworks for one of the 'Booms'. We then discuss the camera angles that we are going to use in this part of the music videos.

We also had the idea of having the toy soldiers parachutes being trapped having their them cut off, this also allow us to have some of the animation in our music video aswell.

Digipak process/ Journal

In the process of creating the Digipak, I was able to finish 3 four images for the digipak, both of them are origami which will be place on the front and the back of the digipak, the image would be several paper flowers floating in water and the back is a single flower floating

Here is a design of my digipak for the artist that i'm promoting, however the design could change during the process of creating the digipak, furthermore the digipak will be a 6 panel, which would show images that is related to the of the artist and the genre.

The design shows images from the music video a characterise nd the uses of origami which representing the characterists of the genre and the artist.

Here is the template of the 6 side digipak without any pictures.

Journal 07 October

In today lesson we show our storyboard to the whole group and get feedback from the whole class, the only feedback we got was to show a stage performance in our music video.

We now have to create an audience profile for our music video.

Journal 5th October

In today lesson we looked at Digipacks and their what they are for, we then describe what a Digipack and how different they are from normal CD. The different was that a Digipack show more detail about the artist and the album then the CD and that it has a different appearance then the CD

Here is an image the Gorillaz digipack for Demon Days on the left and the CD cover on the right.

The Digipack show better image of the band members on their own panel on the inside of the Digipack and on the CD cover show each of the band member on smaller panels on the front cover of the CD.

However both the Digipack and the CD have the same artwork, which can show that it's the band member trademark.

Journal 03 October

We have finished our mood board and taken photographed it.We also had ideas of what editing and effect we would like to use, the idea of paint exploding, marbles or bouncy balls, the only problems of this is that the paint exploding can be complex and both marbles or bouncy balls can be expensive if we have to buy large quantity of marbles/ bouncy balls so that it can be effective in the music video.

we have also suggested location we would like to film in studio/warehouse or london.

mood board

This is our mood board that we have create for our music video, our mood board include some of our idea of what we think should be in the music video ( effect, style and ect), the name of our group and the lyrics of the song that we have chosen to use in our music video.

We named our group Anima, which mean soul in Latin.

We have then decided use bright colour on our mood broad, that suggest that we going to use bright colours in our music video. We have also made origami for our mood board, which can show foreign country influences, probably an eastern country like japan, due to the fact origami began in Japan.

We have also decided to keep our music video plain, natural vibrant.
